Branden Fraser

Red Dot Restoration Branch Manager

“My life’s passion for as long as I could remember has been serving people; whether it be people in need of help or those who refuse to accept it. I spent my early adulthood searching for a career that could turn my passion into a paycheque; experimenting with teaching, pastoring, or becoming a police officer and social worker. I spent a lot of time in colleges / universities learning practical and clinical ways of becoming the servant I envisioned. If I am going to be honest, I did not think I would work in the construction industry and especially in the field of restoration. As doors closed and opportunities arose, I find myself working at Red Dot Restoration; and let me tell you, I love it. I have now worked in roofing insurance and restoration for over a decade and in my role as General Manager for 2 plus years. I am able to take my passion for serving, the years of education, and my developed knowledge of construction to help people in very practical ways.

My life is packed full with two young boys, a caring family and the best friends I could ask for; It is wonderful that I also come to work and get my hands dirty, my inbox overwhelmed, and my bills paid. I spend my free time with my children on the bike, in the mountains or at the park. I also have a deep affection for quality coffee, wine and food.
I am able to take my passion for serving, the years of education, and my developed knowledge of construction to help people in very practical ways.

Red Dot Construction Manager

I have been involved with various stages of construction since 2005. I framed houses for 5 years, worked as an owner operator of a small contracting company and then moved onto more of a managerial role within Epic Roofing and Exteriors. I wanted to continue to develop my skillset and knowledge base, and working within Red Dot has been a great chance for me to do so. I enjoy the challenging circumstances we work under and finding solutions to the unique issues we encounter within the world of restoration construction.

In my spare time I enjoy woodworking and furniture building. I especially enjoy working with reclaimed wood and re-purposing previously used materials. That and spending time with my family!

Red Dot Cleaning Manager

“In my late teens I chose to “blaze my own trail’ by heading off to Europe and spending over a year wandering alone in over 20 plus countries with little to no budget. Like Forest Gump when I was done I just went home. For me it was to ‘Sunny Mexico’. For the next years I settled down, went to university to get a BA, was married and started a family by welcoming our first child. Things looked like I finally grew up… but my the mid-1990s the “trail blazer” in me showed up again. Off to Canada I moved my family to start all over again in a new home and new country. This time I was not alone. I started working in retail, an unknown field to me and worked my way up to Store Operations Manager at Toys “R” Us. My mission was accomplished so it was time for a new challenge. A small restoration company called ‘I Color’ was born.

Working in the restoration industry allowed me to develop relationships with other contractors. Red Dot was one of those contractors. After sub-contracting for Red Dot for several years an opportunity to take on the role of ‘Epic Cleaning Manager’, which is an arm of Red Dot Restoration, working with Property Managers and Condo boards and leading a team again showed up and I just had to apply. Today I serve in that management role and am privileged to work with an amazing team that is trustworthy, friendly and reliable with a great passion to serve people.

Project Manager

I grew up in a construction / home building family and have always been around construction learning how to do the work myself, but also watching my family manage trades and people. In my late twenties I founded and operated a communication company for nine years. It was a way of honing my skills in leadership and management. We were able to sell the corporation so that we then could go overseas to live. For over 4 years, along with my family we were privileged to serve in the Philippines, building relationships for a greater cause. Being involved in missions gave me an immense understanding of diverse cultures, and serving people. I have over 7 years experience working for the Epic group. 4 years as an estimator and the last 3 of them being a Project Manager with Red Dot Restoration. Being one of the Project Managers in this organization, I am involved with finding the best solutions and providing quality work to our partners and clients. Making sure that we are giving our customers the help they need in times of disaster. Outside of work, my family and I like to spend time together outdoors in the mountains, camping, biking, kayaking, hiking and traveling. We try to get out whenever we can.
